The Illinois Organized Retail Crime Association (ILORCA) is proud to partner with the Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) to offer scholarships for ILORCA members pursuing professional certification through the LPQ (Loss Prevention Qualified) and LPC (Loss Prevention Certified) programs.
This program is designed to support both emerging professionals and seasoned leaders in the retail loss prevention and asset protection industry who are committed to advancing their education and career.
About the Scholarships
- Covers full cost of course materials and proctored exam fees for LPQ or LPC certification.
- Open to all ILORCA members who demonstrate dedication to a long-term career in North American retail loss prevention.
- Ideal for both new entrants to the industry and experienced practitioners looking to strengthen their credentials.
Important Details
- Before applying for the LPQ/LPC scholarship, make sure to thoroughly review all eligibility requirements established by the Loss Prevention Foundation. You can find the full details HERE.
- The LPQ certification is designed for entry-level LP professionals with less than 3 years of experience, and the LPC certification is designed for advanced-level LP professionals, such as multi-unit, field, and corporate LP management.
- Open to any LP/AP professional who has not received a scholarship for the an LPQ or LPC course in the past 3 years AND has not successfully completed the course. Participants will have one year to complete coursework. Extensions require ILORCA and LPF approval.
- Certification requires passing a proctored exam (covered once through the scholarship).
- Scholarships are non-transferrable.
- Applications accepted on a rolling deadline.
